Nexus Clean · App uninstaller for Mac

Nexus Clean icon

Uninstall Mac apps.
Leave nothing behind.

Dragging an app to the Trash leaves its files behind in your Library: caches, settings, support files and more. Nexus Clean removes each app together with those files, and everything goes to the Trash first, so you can always put it back.

FAQ

Uninstalling on a Mac

Is dragging an app to the Trash enough?

It removes the app, but most apps also keep files in your Library: caches, preferences, saved state, support files and containers. These stay behind and can add up to gigabytes. Nexus Clean finds and removes them with the app.

Where do Mac apps leave files behind?

Mostly in your Library folder: Application Support, Caches, Preferences, Containers, Group Containers, Logs and Saved Application State. Nexus Clean checks these for each app.

Can I undo an uninstall?

Yes. Everything goes to the Trash first, and Put Back All restores the app and its files where they were.

Does it work on Intel Macs?

No. Nexus Clean is made for Macs with Apple silicon (M1 or later), running macOS 14 Sonoma or later.
