Time tracking for teams.
Built, tested, ready.
Hourvale is a complete product for remote teams, agencies and freelancers: they track time on the web or the desktop app, and owners get timesheets, approvals, optional screenshots, client invoices and payroll from the same hours. It is finished and documented, and it has not been launched yet, so it comes without legacy customers, debt or shortcuts.
Web app · Windows and macOS tracker (universal, notarized) · Chrome extension · Stripe billing tested end to end

Timesheets & approvals
Weekly, biweekly or monthly sheets, one or two approval levels, locking, overtime, time off with accrual, holidays and shift schedules with attendance.
Transparent monitoring
Optional screenshots (off and blurred by default), apps and URLs, activity levels and retention rules. Members always see what is recorded.
Invoices & payroll
Pay and bill rates with effective dates, client invoices with optional tax, expenses, team invoices, payments and accounting and payroll exports.
Reports & insights
12 reports with CSV and PDF export, saved and scheduled reports, client share links, budgets, profitability, utilization and focus-time insights.
People & roles

Monetization built in
Per-seat subscriptions with Stripe Checkout and the customer portal, four plans, monthly or yearly, a 14-day trial, a free one-person plan, add-ons and referrals. Tested end to end in Stripe test mode, including a real charge.
A tracker people
do not mind running.
Built with Tauri and Rust: small, fast and private by default. It sits in the tray or menu bar and always shows what it records.
- Windows and macOS; the Mac build is universal, signed and notarized
- Keeps tracking offline and uploads when the connection returns
- Idle prompt: keep, discard or move the time to another project
- Updates itself, with signature-verified releases
- Signs in through the browser; the account is always shown before approving
A product, not a prototype.
Everything needed to brand it, deploy it and start selling, with the documentation to do it without the original developer.
Full source and rights
The complete repository with a clean history, every app and package, and all rights to the code and the Hourvale name.
Documented to hand over
Buyer guide, setup and self-hosting guides, release process, API reference, help center and a 59-page user manual.
Built carefully
Strict TypeScript, tenant isolation and role checks, rate limits, hashed tokens, signed URLs and privacy-first defaults.
Clean to own
Modern stack: Next.js, React, PostgreSQL, Tauri. No third-party code or branding reused; easy to rebrand.

Questions
Is Hourvale live with customers?
Not yet. It is finished and tested but has not been launched, so you start with a clean product: no customers to migrate, no support backlog and no legacy data.
What do I need to launch it?
A server with PostgreSQL and a domain, an email provider, your own Stripe account and your company details for the legal pages. For the Mac app, an Apple Developer account. The buyer guide walks through each step.
Which technologies does it use?
Next.js 16, React 19 and TypeScript for the web app and API; PostgreSQL with Drizzle; a background worker for jobs; Tauri 2 and Rust for the desktop tracker; a Manifest V3 Chrome extension.
Can I rename and rebrand it?
Yes. The name, colours and logo live in a few files, and the user manual's screenshots can be regenerated automatically after you rebrand.
Is any of the code copied from other products?
No. Comparable products were studied for features, but no code, design assets, text or branding were reused.
What is not built yet?
Single sign-on (SAML/SCIM), GPS tracking, mobile apps and an S3 storage driver. The Windows installer is not yet code-signed and the Chrome extension is not yet published to the Chrome Web Store.
How do I see more before buying?
Read the user manual, then email hello@luminarklabs.com with your questions or to ask for a demo video.
Skip the years of building. Start selling.
A finished, tested time tracking product with full source code, ready for your brand.
